A late George III silver teapot, the cylindrical body decorated with embossed floral swags tied with bows and having applied scroll capped wooden handle. Hallmarked London 1809. Height measures 5 4/8 inches (14 cm), gross weight 12.64 ozt (393.1 grams). (A/F).

The spout has been damaged and re-soldered. Displaying some knocks, bumps and dints to the body and general surface wear, scratches and rubbing. The hinges feel a little loose, however the lid does sit flush to the body. Maker's mark rubbed and partly illegible, other hallmarks with rubbing but still legible.
