A late nineteenth century Russian silver icon of the mother of god, the silver body overlaid with cloisonné enamel halos. Russian assay marks for Moscow, 1876. Height measuring 12 1/2 inches (32 cm).

The lot displays general scratches, marks wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Dints and bumps. Enamel does not appear of great quality and appear with some loses and repairs. Russian assay marks somewhat distorted.
