Lot Description

A pair of continental salad servers, each pierced stem ornately decorated with scrolling foliage and leading to a terminal modelled as a sailing ship, with an embossed armorial to the spoon bowl. Pseudo marks to reverse, to include a crowned letter 'N'. Length of spoon measures 10 1/8 inches (25.7 cm), combined weight 9.25 ozt (287.6 grams).

Both pieces display general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Some slightly heavier wear around edge and tip of spoon bowl but it has generally faired quite well. Fork tines are a little bent. Both would benefit from a polish.
