Lot Description

A Victorian silver Kings pattern spoon with shell heel and shovel shape bowl, hallmarked William Eaton, London 1837 with William IV Duty mark. Together with a Fiddle pattern spoon with four struck marks to terminal reverse, including number '33', initials 'AVC' and possibly a Maltese Cross but very distorted. Gross weight 3.85 ozt (120 grams). (2).

Both spoons display general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with their age and use. Some little nicks or pitting marks to bowls but they have generally faired quite well. Bowl of Fiddle pattern spoon is very pointed. The hallmarks on the Victorian spoon appear rubbed but legible.
