A pair of late eighteenth century Scottish silver sauce ladles, the bowls with fluted edge, hallmarked with the thistle and maker's mark PR, tentatively attributed to Patrick Robertson, length measuring 6 1/2 inches (16.5 cm). Together with a selection of Georgian silver spoons to include a set of six shell back teaspoons, a part set of five teaspoons by Peter & William Bateman, London 1807, three dessert spoons by Peter, Ann & William Bateman, London 1802, a preserve spoon, sifter spoon and a selection of Victorian silver fish eaters with ivory handles. Gross weighable silver 15.1 ozt (472 grams).

Condition Report
Varied state - all display general scratches, marks wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Fish eaters in particularly poor condition, being heavily discoloured, some of the ivory also with fractures.
