Lot Description
A late Victorian silver mounted hip flask, the glass body with facetted shoulders, detachable silver cup and domed hinged cover with hammered finish. Hallmarked 1891 and 1896 with the maker's mark WG. Height measuring 6 1/4 inches (16 cm).

The lot displays general scratches, marks wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Some chips to the glass body where it meets the cup. Slight split to the seam on the cover. No personal engravings. Hallmarks clear and legible, maker's mark rubbed. Earlier date to cover.
