A 1940's novelty silver preserve spoon, the tapering handle decorated in relief with trailing flowers and a bee, hallmarked Roberts & Belk Ltd, Sheffield 1940, length measuring 14 cm, weight 30 grams. Together with a silver handled magnifying glass, hallmarked Sheffield 1915. (2).

The lot displays general scratches, marks wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The mount to the magnifying glass is base metal, only the handle is silver, which is also filled.
