Lot Description
A miniature enamel clock, probably French, of rectangular form on three compressed bun feet, with purple guilloche enamel decoration to front and sides surrounding a circular white dial with Arabic numerals, hinged door to reverse opening to reveal a going barrel movement with club tooth lever escapement. Possible French maker's mark to base and door and Boar guarantee mark. Height measures 4.4 cm.

Condition Report
The clock displays general surface scratches, marks and wear commensurate with the age and use. Tarnishing to the metal and it would benefit from a clean and polish. Slightly heavier wear around edges and the corners are now a little rounded. Surface scratches and nicks to the enamel but it appears to be in overall good condition. Hinged lid and clasp appear in good working order. Remnants of sticker marks to base. The marks are partly distorted. The movement is currently functioning, however we are unable to guarantee the working order or accuracy. missing glass to dial.
