A 1920's plain silver cigarette case of slightly curved oblong form with centrally engraved monogram, hallmarked Mappin & Webb Ltd., Birmingham 1924. Together with an American cigarette case, initialled with engine-turned decoration, maker's mark for R. Blackinton & Co. (Massachusetts 1862-1967), and a continental compact, appears unmarked. Gross weight 8.17 ozt (254.2 grams). (3).
