Lot Description

A continental cigarette case, probably German, the oblong curved form with chequered niello decoration, length measuring 3 3/4 inches (9.5 cm). Together with a silver import pill box, London 1902, a Dutch silver box and a further continental box modelled as a woven basket and lid. Gross weight 7.5 ozt (235 grams). (4).

Varied state, all displaying general scratches, marks wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The cigarette case is in good overall condition, probable worn German assay marks to the clasp only. The three boxes display minor dents and splits. Import and Dutch marks are clear and legible. Basket box unmarked.
