A nineteenth century Scottish horn pomander, the curling horn, with plain rim and hinged lid with circular shaped citrine and embossed thistle motif, the inside with a detachable pierced lid, the whole suspended from a trace-link chain, finger ring and later cloth. Length of pomander 4.7 cm, weight 15.5 grams.
