Condition Report
The argyle displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Some minor dints and bumps and possible solder repairs to some areas. Loss of surface detail to the engraved crest as it is quite worn. The removable lids appear to fit quite well and both are struck with the lion passant mark to the flange. The top of the ball finial on the smaller lid is flattened. The main hallmarks are located to the foot rim and are quite rubbed and partly distorted.
