Lot Description
An open face pocket watch by Robert Scanlan. Silver case, hallmarked Chester 1885. Signed key wind full plate fusee and chain movement with verge escapement. White enamel dial with Roman numeral hour markers, subsidiary seconds dial to six. 58mm.

<li>Movement is currently functioning.
<li>Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible to the naked eye.
<li>Dial has some cracks by subsidiary seconds dial as well as marks.
<li>Hands show noticeable marks and tarnishing.Hour and minute hands are of differing colours indicating one is a later replacement. Seconds hand is distorted.
<li>Glass has noticeable scratches and marks.
<li>Case shows scratches, marks and dints. Case has noticeable wear to the decoration. Hinges show wear to the corners.
<li>Crown has visible wear as well as marks and scratches. Pendent also shows wear.<p>
