Lot Description
An early 20th century gold, diamond and gem-set bar brooch. The slightly graduated gem-set line, comprising an old-cut diamond, a circular-shape emerald, a circular-shape blue spinel, a circular-shape yellow sapphire and a further circular-shape blue spinel, to the openwork gallery. Estimated diamond weight 1ct, tinted colour, VS clarity. Length 3.5cms. Weight 5gms.

Condition Report
<li>Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Diamond appears a slightly brownish yellow tint with no obvious inclusions under 10x.
<li>Diamond untested for natural colour origin.
<li>The emerald is a medium, moderately vibrant, slightly bluish green hue with moderate window effect through the centre of the gem. Approximate diameter 6.8mms by 4.1mms depth.
<li>The sapphire is a light yellow hue, slight colour zoning and window effect. Approximate diameter 7.1mms, by 4.1mms depth.
<li>Spinels are a medium deep blue hue, the larger spinel more saturated and vibrant than the smaller, both with small window effect. Approximate diameter7.2 and 6.3mms respectively, depths 5.9 and 3.8mms.<p>
<li>Stones in good condition with minor abrasions.<p>
