Lot Description

A late 19th century gold snake ring. Comprising two entwined snakes, each with pear-shape garnet and turquoise head detail, together with ruby and emerald eye accents and grooved band. Weight 4.7gms.

<li>Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.

<li> Stones in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.<p>

<li> Garnet is a brownish red, with moderate clarity and typical inclusions <p>

<li>Stones in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.<p>


<li> Turquoise and garnet head detail are replacement stones <p>

<li> Evidence of repair work can be seen to setting <p>

<li> emerald and garnet eye detail are significantly abraded. <p>

<li>Ring size H 1/2.<p>
