Lot Description
A late Victorian 18ct gold sapphire and diamond three-stone ring. The cushion-shape sapphire and old-cut diamond sides, with diamond point spacers, scrolling gallery and plain band. Estimated total diamond weight 1ct, H-I colour, VS2-SI1 clarity. Hallmarks for Birmingham, 1894. Weight 5.1gms.

Condition Report
<li>Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Band shows slight evidence of repair/ resize.
<li>Diamonds fairly well matched. One diamond appears slightly pinkish, believed due to cut and setting.
<li>One diamond with small nick.
<li>Claws appear re-tipped/replacement.
<li>Sapphire is a dark slightly greenish blue hue, with colour zoning visible, window effect through the centre of the gem.<p>
<li>Stones in good condition with minor abrasions.<p>
<li>Ring size U 1/2.<p>
