A mid Victorian gold foil-back emerald and split pearl hinged bangle, circa 1860. The front designed as a rectangular-shape emerald, within a split pearl and foil-back square-shape emerald cluster, within a raised rope-twist border, to the cannetille scrolling surround. Inner diameter 7cms. Weight 39.7gms

<li> Seed pearls are a creamy white, skins in fairly good condition, with blemishes to the surface, <p>
<li>Emerald fairly light green, well saturated, with moderate clarity and typical inclusions.<p>
<li>Stones in poor condition with significant abrasion, chips and nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.<p>
