A late 19th century gold amethyst and split pearl hinged bangle. The front designed as a split pearl within a stair motif, inset to the raised circular amethyst cabochon and scroll engraved sides. Inner diameter 6.5cms. Weight 24.4gms.

<li>Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
<li> Split pearl surround is raised one peg, attention needed. <p>
<li> amethyst medium purple, well saturated, with good clarity and typical inclusions.<p>
<li>Stones in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.<p>
<li> split pearls are replacement <p>
<li> pearls have not been tested for natural origin <p>
<li> safety chain deficient <p>
<li>Central dome fitting appears secure, but can be lifted out of the collet surround - in need of attention.
