FABERGE - a Russian pre-revolutionary gold intaglio stickpin. The oval-shape chalcedony carved to depict Omphale covered with the pelt of the Nemean lion, within a polished surround, to the spiral twist pin. Maker's mark for Faberge and 56 zolotnik mark, partially rubbed. Length of stickpin head 1cm. Weight 1.4gms.
