Lot Description

A late George III small silver salver, the circular form with shaped shell and scroll rim to a plain centre with engraved family crest and motto and raised on three foliate capped paw feet. Hallmarked Joseph Angell I, London 1819. Maximum diameter measures 7 inches (17.8 cm), weight 9.94 ozt (309 grams).

The salver appears in fairly good overall condition, displaying some general wear and tarnishing in keeping with the age and use. There are several surface marks, nicks and scratches visible to the centre and underside. The hallmarks are clear and legible.
