Lot Description

A pair of 1920's Judaic silver Sabbath candlesticks, each with a filled and shaped square base rising to a triple knopped column and baluster shape socket with circular removable nozzle, decorated throughout with foliate scroll borders. Hallmarked Sigmund Zyto, London 1926. Height measures 11 3/4 inches (30 cm).

Both sticks appear in fair to good overall condition, displaying some general wear, surface scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Some minor dints and bumps. One of the nozzles is quite a tight fit. The hallmarks and maker's marks appear a little rubbed in places but still clearly legible. Clear corresponding part hallmarks to nozzles.
