Lot Description

A 1920's silver pierced bonbon dish, of oval outline having scalloped rim and pierced border leading to the conforming shallow dish, the whole raised upon four foliate supports, hallmarked E J H, Birmingham 1922, length measures 5 4/8 inches (14 cm). Together with another 1970's example of exaggerated lobed form having wide pierced border and raised upon three ball feet, hallmarked J Zimmerman & Co., Birmingham 1973, diameter measures 6 inches (15 cm). Gross weight 5.94 ozt (184.6 grams). (2).

Each item is in overall fair condition. The 1920's example with general tarnishing and surface rubbing. The 1970's example displaying heavier tarnishing throughout and with few light surface scratches. Hallmarks to each clear and legible.
