Lot Description

A 1930's three piece silver tea service, comprising teapot milk jug and twin handled sugar bowl, each of bulging form having waisted border detail and raised upon four ball feet. Hallmarked Mappin & Webb Ltd., Birmingham 1937/8. Height of teapot measures 6 4/8 inches (16.5 cm), gross weight 35.92 ozt (1117.3 grams).

Overall items appear in good to fair condition displaying general signs of wear, surface marks and scratches and tarnishing throughout. A few minor dints. Hinge to teapot is in good working order but interior is very dirty and worn, and applied handle is possibly a replacement. Hallmarks to all items clear and legible.
