Lot Description

A 1930's four piece silver tea service, of plain chamfered form with angular handle and raised upon a stepped footed base. Hallmarked Burtons & Waters, Birmingham 1936/7. Height of hot water pot measures 8 inches (20.25 cm), gross weight 65.56 ozt (1,966 grams).

Overall appears in good to fair condition. Each displaying general light surface wear and areas of tarnishing. Hot water pot with slight distortion to foot and so does not stand firm. Hinges to cover both in working order however teapot cover does not close flush. Hallmarks to each clear and legible.
