Lot Description
A modern silver mounted claret jug, the tapering glass body with a graduated diamond cut pattern rising to a silver collar with foliate scroll engraved cartouche, having a domed hinged lid and scrolling handle. Hallmarked Charles S Green & Co Ltd., Birmingham 1971. Maximum height to finial measures 12 3/4 inches (32.5 cm).

Condition Report
Appears in good overall condition. There is some general light wear, surface scratches and marks. Also some tarnishing to the silver mounts. Hinged lid in good working order. Some minor edge nibbles to glass and some heavier scratches and contact marks to the base. The hallmarks are clear and legible and with clear part hallmarks to lid.
