A mid-twentieth century silver cream jug, of panel sided bellied form to a skirted base with foliate capped scroll handle. Hallmarked Joseph Gloster Ltd., Birmingham 1955. Maximum height measures 6 1/8 inches (15.5 cm), weight 5.68 ozt (176.8 grams).

The jug appears in fairly good overall condition, displaying some general wear, surface scratches and marks. Also some tarnishing throughout and it would benefit from a polish. Some seam or construction lines are visible. The hallmarks are clear and legible.
