Lot Description

A 1930's silver teapot, of panelled form above a footed base and having applied scroll capped square section handle and lobed finial. Hallmarked C W Fletcher & Son, Sheffield 1931. Height measures 5 4/8 inches (14 cm), gross weight 20.16 ozt (627.1 grams).

Overall fair condition displaying minor surface marks and scratches commensurate with use. Handle and or finial has been replaced as they do not match. Hinge in working order however with slight distortion causing cover to sit at slight angle. Finial loose. Solder join visible to the top. Hallmarks clear and legible and part hallmarks to cover.  No personal engravings.
