The frames appear in a worn and used condition, displaying many heavy surface marks and scratches, and general dints and bumps. Several knocks around edges and corners, splits are starting to appear at the corners and the mount is beginning to lift a little. The material covered backs are also very worn and faded with some losses. However, both still stand correctly. On one of the frames, the hallmarks and maker's mark appear rubbed but legible. On the other they are clear and legible.
