Lot Description

An early twentieth century silver trophy cup of circular tapering form to a pedestal foot, having three loop handles with foliate terminals and Masonic presentation inscription to one side. Hallmarked Stewart Dawson & Co Ltd., Birmingham 1913. Height including handles measures 7 1/2 inches (19 cm), weight 11.83 ozt (368 grams).

The trophy displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. It would benefit from a polish. A small dent visible to the lower body and further smaller dints. The rim is a little misshapen. The hallmarks and maker's marks appear rubbed and a little distorted but still legible.
