A Middle Eastern box of rectangular form, ornately decorated throughout with stylised floral and foliate borders surrounding deities and mythical figures, opening to a plain interior and raised on short corner bracket feet. Partly distorted impressed mark to reverse of lid. Length measuring 7 1/4 inches (18.5 cm).
