An Art Deco style bachelor teapot, probably Italian, of cube form with stepped corners, having a triangular spout, stained wood handle, and a removable circular lid with conforming wood finial. Impressed 800 to the base alongside a maker's mark ML? in an oval cartouche. Length measuring 6 1/8 inches (15.5 cm), gross weight 9.54 ozt (297 grams).

The teapot appears in fairly good overall condition, displaying some general wear, surface scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Some minor dints and nicks. Some signs of rust/tarnishing around the fixing pins of the handle sockets. Some staining and marks to interior. Likely repair to wood handle.
