Lot Description

An Austrian silver mounted boar tusk cigar cutter, circa 1900, the realistically modelled boars head set with red stone-set eyes and push button mechanism to snout. Austrian assay marks for Georg Adam Scheid, Vienna alongside further German assay marks. Maximum length measuring 12 1/2 inches (32 cm).
