An Austrian silver mounted boar tusk cigar cutter, circa 1900, the realistically modelled boars head set with red stone-set eyes and push button mechanism to snout. Austrian assay marks for Georg Adam Scheid, Vienna alongside further German assay marks. Maximum length measuring 12 1/2 inches (32 cm).

In good overall condition. The lot displays general scratches, marks wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Numerous hairline fractures along the length of the tusk. Press release function in good working order.
