Lot Description

A small continental bowl and cover of wrythen moulded bulbous form to a footed base, embossed with foliate motifs and with conforming decoration to the removable lid. Appears unmarked. Maximum height to lid finial measures 5 7/8 inches (15 cm), weight 8.72 ozt (271 grams).

The bowl displays some general wear, surface scratches and marks. Some quite heavy tarnishing and would benefit from a polish. Minor dints and nicks. The rim of the lid is a little distorted and so that it is difficult to fit it on correctly. Tests as 98% silver.
