Lot Description

A German silver novelty salt and pepper set, modelled as a male and female in continental dress, German assay marks to include Reichsmark and 800 beneath, height of male measures 3 1/8 inches (8 cm). Together with an Italian silver chafing dish having shell moulded detail the hinged cover and with applied wooden handle, Italian assay mark beneath, width measures 4 5/8 inches (11.75 cm). Gross weight 10.46 ozt (325.5 grams). (2).
