Lot Description

An Italian four piece silver tea service, comprising teapot, hot water pot, cream jug, and twin-handled sugar bowl, each of part fluted form raised upon a circular footed base, marked 800 beside Palermo marker's number 72, height of teapot measures 7 inches (17.25 cm). Together with a silver slop bowl and cover of similar part fluted form raised upon four foliate feet, height 6 4/8 inches (16.5 cm). Total weight 33.19 ozt (1032.4 grams).

Overall in good to fair condition displaying small areas of light tarnishing throughout. Cover of hot water pot catches slightly on rim, and with distortion to one foot of slop bowl. Marks to tea service legible however marks to slop bowl partly worn.
