Lot 519

Lot Description

A 1920's silver cheese scoop in Old English style pattern with monogrammed terminal. Hallmarked Harrison Brothers & Howson (George Howson), Sheffield 1927. Length measuring 7 7/8 inches (20 cm), weight 2.16 ozt (67 grams).

Postage: Auction Default

Weight: No

Total lot weight: No

The scoop displays general wear, surface scratches, and marks in keeping with the age and use. Some heavy areas of staining and tarnishing and remnants of a sticker mark to scoop. Would therefore benefit from a clean and polish. Some heavier wear around the tip of the scoop but it has generally faired well. The hallmarks are clear and legible.
