Lot Description

A George VI silver commemorative anointing spoon, hallmarked Robert & Dore, Sheffield 1937, a 1920's silver vase of trumpet form having presentation engraving to foot, hallmarked A & J Zimmerman Ltd., Birmingham 1929, height measures 7 1/8 inches (18 cm). Together with a selection of 1930's and later silver spoons to include examples having personal engravings and a quantity of plated and other spoons.

1937 spoon displaying light rubbing and tarnishing to whole, hallmarks with wear although still legible and presentation case with exterior scuffs and marks. Vase with damage having few significant dents, distortion, marks and the base has been filled. Remaining spoons all with minor wear and marks commensurate with use and some examples with distortion to stems.
