An early George III silver soup ladle with shell and scroll terminal and crest engraving to the reverse terminal. Hallmarked London 1761, the maker possibly George Baskerville. Length measuring 12 1/2 inches (32 cm), weight 6.2 ozt (195 grams).

Condition Report
The lot displays general scratches, marks and wear commensurate with the age and use. Heavy tarnishing and would benefit from a clean and polish. Joint between stem and bowl is visible, solder repair to the shoulder of the bowl. The hallmarks are clear and legible.
