A Victorian silver hip flask, the oblong form with applied shield, personal inscription and hinged cover with locking mechanism and further inscription. Hallmarked Thomas Johnson II, London 1880. Height measuring 4 3/8 inches (11 cm), weight 4.3 ozt (136 grams).
