Lot Description

An early twentieth century silver mounted stamp roller, the screw on cap with engraved initials. Hallmarked Asprey & Co Ltd., London 1915. Length measuring 7.7 cm.

The roller displays some general wear, surface scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. There are several surface dints and bumps and the end near to the roller is compressed. The roller does not rotate. The hallmarks and maker's marks appear rubbed but legible. Also with impressed maker's name.
