A 1950's silver compact, the engine turned square case further engraved with a dragon and opening to a silver-gilt interior with mirror inset to the lid. Hallmarked Asprey & Co Ltd, Birmingham 1953. Width measuring 2 1/2 inches ( 6.5 cm), weight 3.5 ozt (109 grams).

Good overall condition. The lot displays general scratches, marks wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Hinge and clasp in good working order. The hallmarks are clear and legible. Interior somewhat discoloured.
