Lot Description

An Edwardian silver carriage clock, the plain oblong form standing on bun feet, circular aperture with white enamel dial, black Roman numerals, hinged scroll handle and the back cover opening to a manual wind movement marked 'French Made'. Hallmarked Henry Matthews, Birmingham 1903. Height measuring 3 1/2 inches (9 cm).

The lot displays general scratches, marks wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Movement is not in working order. Dial cracked and missing hand. Case indented to the underside and one bun feet cracked. The hallmarks are clear and legible.
