An Italian mid-twentieth century silver and enamel combination compact and lipstick, the rectangular case with ornate foliate scroll engraving throughout and the enamelled lid with central scene depicting a young courting couple, opening to a mirror reverse and gilded interior with hinged lid to compact and push release mechanism for the lipstick holder. Italian assay mark for 800 standard. Measuring 7.5 cm by 6 cm.
