Lot Description

A modern silver paper knife of plain tapering form, hallmarked Mappin & Webb Ltd., Edinburgh 2000, length measuring 6 7/8 inches (17.5 cm). Together with a modern silver rectangular form box with engine-turned decoration and foliate thumb-piece, hallmarked Peter John Doherty, Edinburgh 2001. Combined weight 3.75 ozt (116.6 grams). (2).

Both items appear in good overall condition, displaying general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Some heavier wear to the corners of the box and slight loss of detail to the decoration. Hinged lid in good working order. The hallmarks to both are clear and legible.
