Lot Description
A late Victorian silver mounted and glass match strike, the circular glass dish rising to a smaller silver holder above on three supports. Hallmarked A & J Zimmerman Ltd., Birmingham 1898. Maximum diameter measures 9 cm.

Condition Report
In overall fair to good condition, displaying some general wear, surface scratches and marks. Light tarnishing to silver and a few minor dints/nicks. One of the supports is slightly compressed into the base of the small holder. Minor nicks and nibbles to glass. The hallmarks appear rubbed but still clearly legible, maker's mark partly worn.
