A 1930's silver cigarette case of square form decorated with radiating sun view to the exterior and opening to reveal a gilt interior, hallmarked J L, Birmingham 1930, length measures 3 3/8 inches (8.5 cm). Together with a 1920's silver match sleeve case having engraved monogram and dates to the hinged cover and with further dedication inscription verso, opening to reveal a gilt interior, hallmarked Hasset & Harper Ltd., Birmingham 1922. Gross weight 4.25 ozt (132.34 grams). (2).

Cigarette case displaying general surface scratching, wear and few knocks cause slight distortion to exterior, hinge in working order and light wear to gilt interior. Match case with heavy tarnishing and surface scratches, hinge in working order and with further wear and tarnishing to gilt interior. Hallmarks to both items clear and legible.
