The tankard appears in fairly good overall condition, displaying some general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The hinged lid is in good working order and the lid sits nearly flush, just leaving a slight gap when closed. Some minor dints/nicks and a slight knock to the foot rim. Some loss of surface detail to decoration. The hallmarks appear rubbed but legible. Part hallmarks to interior of lid.
