An early 20th century platinum and gold diamond brooch. The old-cut diamond collet, with openwork geometric surround, to the old-cut diamond collet border. Principal diamond estimated weight 1.15cts, L-M colour, P1 clarity. Estimated total diamond weight 2.75ct. Length 1.9cms. Weight 4.9gms.

<li>Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
<li> Evidence of alteration to the sides and fittings. <p>
<li>Diamonds fairly well matched.
<li> Diamonds bright.<p>
<li> Centre diamond with a fairly noticeable slightly brownish tint. <p>
<li> Some surface penetrating inclusions can be seen to the crown with the naked eye. <p>
<li> Smaller diamonds show small light and dark inclusions, some of which can be seen with the naked eye, some of which are surface reaching. <p>
<li> Some smaller diamonds have small chips and nibbles to the facet edges. <p>
