A late 19th century 15ct gold shell cameo ring. Designed as an oval-shape shell cameo carved to depict a perched owl, within a rope-twist surround, to the replacement plain band. Ring size K. Weight 5.9gms.

<li> Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. <p>
<li>Band slightly out of shape. <p>
<li> Ring shows evidence of alteration. <p>
<li>Length of head 2.2cms.
<li> Cameo light to medium sandy brown, with slightly off white raised areas.<p>
<li> Cameo in fair condition with abrasion to some raised surfaces and a slight loss of detail to the carving. <p>
