A late 19th century gold garnet owl brooch. Set throughout with rose-cut garnets and circular-shape garnet cabochon eyes. Length 2.6cms. Weight 7.6gms.

<li>Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Light dents to reverse of brooch.
<li>Possible replacement stones.
<li>Garnets medium hue, fairly well saturated, with moderate clarity and typical inclusions.<p>
<li>Stones in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.<p>
